Malaysia's #1 Card Game
From the fast-paced thrill of Speed Baccarat to the dramatic reveal of Baccarat Squeeze — Payong99 brings every variant together on one platform. Live tables running 24/7, easy deposits via Touch 'n Go or DuitNow, and withdrawals without the long wait.
Ask any seasoned casino player in Malaysia and you'll likely get the same answer — baccarat is the most beloved card game around. And for good reason. Baccarat has one of the highest return-to-player (RTP) rates of any casino game, with the Banker bet carrying a house edge as low as 1.06%. That means your odds as a player are among the best you'll find at any casino.
At Payong99, we elevate the baccarat experience with HD-streamed live tables, professional hosts who speak Bahasa Melayu, and a wide range of variants to suit players of all levels. Whether you're a newcomer just getting started with baccarat or a seasoned player looking for a high-stakes VIP table — you'll find it all at Payong99.
One of the most appealing things about baccarat is that it requires no deep technical skill like poker. You simply choose whether Player, Banker, or Tie will win — then sit back as the host reveals the cards and the result unfolds. It's this simplicity that makes baccarat the top choice among Malaysian players from Kuala Lumpur all the way to Sabah.
Before playing at a Payong99 table, it's worth familiarising yourself with the basic mechanics of baccarat. The game involves two sides — Player and Banker. Each side is initially dealt two cards, and the hand value is calculated using the last digit of the total card points.
Card values in baccarat: Numbered cards 2 through 9 carry their face value. 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings are all worth 0. Aces are worth 1. So if you receive a 7 and an 8, the total is 15 — but in baccarat, only the last digit counts, making your hand value 5. The hand closest to 9 wins.
There is also the "Natural Win" rule — if either side receives two cards totalling 8 or 9, it is considered a natural win and no third card is dealt. In other situations, a slightly more complex third-card rule determines whether the Player or Banker draws an additional card. You don't need to memorize any of this, as the dealer handles it all automatically — your only job is to place your bets.
| Bet Types | Payout Ratio | House Edge | Recommendations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banker | 1:1 (minus 5% commission) | 1.06% | ⭐ Best |
| Player | 1:1 | 1.24% | ✔ Good |
| Tie | 8:1 or 9:1 | 14.36% | High Risk |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% | Side Bonus |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% | Side Bonus |
Although baccarat is a game of chance, there are several strategies that can help you manage your bets more wisely and get the most out of your playing time. At Payong99, we believe players who understand the fundamentals of strategy tend to have a more rewarding experience than those who rely on luck alone.
One of baccarat's most distinctive features that often confuses new players is the road map — the coloured grid display that appears beside the table. At Payong99, all live baccarat tables come with an automatic road map display that updates every round. Understanding the road map can help you read the flow of the game more effectively.
The most basic road map. A complete record of every round result — red for Banker, blue for Player.
Shows pattern consistency. Red indicates a repeating pattern, blue indicates a pattern change.
Similar to the Big Eye Road but skips one column. Used to detect patterns further back in the history.
The most advanced road map. It skips two columns — useful for experienced players who are already comfortable reading patterns.
Remember — the road map is a guide, not a reliable prediction. Baccarat is still a game of chance where each round is independent of the last. Use the road map as one factor in your decision-making, not the sole deciding factor.
Payong99 not only provides access to baccarat tables — we've built a complete ecosystem designed to make every session a meaningful and enjoyable experience. From a clean, intuitive interface and a live chat feature with hosts, to a VIP program that rewards you every time you play.
What Malaysian players value most is seamless transactions. Before payong99, many had to deal with inconvenient payment methods and withdrawals that took days to process. "I've tried plenty of platforms but Payong99's baccarat tables are the most stable. The video never freezes even during peak hours. The hosts are great too — you can chat in Malay. I play Speed Baccarat almost every night now, and depositing with Touch 'n Go is effortless."
"Lightning Baccarat at Payong99 is truly in a class of its own. I hit a 256x multiplier once and won over RM12,000 in a single round! Withdrawals are seamless too — the money was in my Maybank account within 10 minutes. Absolutely worth it."
"I love the baccarat squeeze at Payong99 for the thrill of watching the host reveal the cards. It genuinely feels like sitting at a real casino table. The betting limits are flexible too — on a tighter budget you can play at a smaller table, and when you're feeling confident you can move up to the VIP table."
